Terms of Access

These terms cover this website and the way access to the Cycles Arc Astronomy API is arranged. The site is published by Kairoi Co. OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. Write to enterprise@kairoico.com about anything on this page.

This site sells nothing

This decides most of what follows, so it goes first. There is no checkout here, no price list, no plan to pick and no sign-up form. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of being accepted, and reading it does not put you into a contract with us.

Because nothing can be bought here, there is nothing to refund and no refund policy applies to this site. If we ever open a paid self-service route, the terms for it will be set out at that point and will not be these.

Access is arranged one to one

There is no way to connect to the API by yourself. Access exists only where we have agreed it with you in writing, and it is scoped to what you are building — the endpoints you need, the volume you expect, the capacity we commit to. Until that agreement is signed, no credential is issued and no request will be answered.

That written agreement is the contract for the service. Where it says something different from this page, the agreement governs and this page does not narrow it.

Credentials

A credential we issue is for the party named in the agreement. Keep it secret, do not share it, and do not pass it to anyone else or resell access through it unless the agreement says you may. Tell us as soon as you think a credential has been exposed and we will replace it.

What the figures on this page are

The endpoint list, the sample responses and the comparison figures shown here describe the API and are published to let you judge whether it fits. They are illustrative. Planetary positions come from the JPL DE441 ephemeris and the site describes what the service computes, but we give no warranty on the content of this website itself, and nothing here is professional advice for navigation, aviation, or any other use where an error carries consequences.

Warranties, accuracy commitments and service levels for the API live in your agreement, not here.

Using this website

Read it, quote it, link to it. The text, the layout, the marks and the logo are ours and stay ours. Please do not scrape the site in bulk, copy it wholesale, or present it as your own.

Availability

This is a marketing site and we may change it, move it or take it down at any time. It is published from two addresses so that you do not have to leave whichever of our sites you arrived on; both carry the same page. Uptime commitments for the API belong to your agreement.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website, including loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not touch the liability terms of your agreement, which stand on their own.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Estonian law, and the courts of Estonia have jurisdiction. Access to the API is arranged between businesses, so consumer withdrawal rights do not arise on this site; if you are dealing with us as a consumer on one of our other sites, the terms published there apply to that purchase.

Changes

We may update this page. The date below is the version in force, and a material change to the API service is made through your agreement rather than by editing this page.
